Students from Kingsway Regional Middle School in Woolwich Township swept all five prize-winners in poetry and the elementary school poster-drawing competition was dominated by entries from two Deptford grade schools and the J. Mason Tomlin School in Mantua Township.
The Fair Funding Action Committee held a Rally at the Kingsway Regional High School on May 8, 2012. Back on January 15, 2012, Governor Chris Christie broke his promise and pocket vetoed legislation that would have provided supplemental appropriation of $4.141 Million for schools with significant growth (including Swedesboro/Woolwich School District, Kingsway Regional High School, East Greenwich School District and South Harrison School District.)
We're not going to take it anymore! We're going to stand up and let our voices be heard. We Need to Demand That Our Fair Funding is Included in This Year's Budget!
The Fair Funding Action Committee will be holding a Rally be at Kingsway High School at 7pm on Tuesday, May 8th.
