Student Hero Performs Life-saving Maneuver

Governor’s Award
One of our juniors, Aaron Savage, won a NJ Governor’s Award in Visual Arts. Aaron won 1st place in the State for Photography and was nominated for the Governor’s Award. He was presented with the award on May 10, 2012 at the War Memorial in Trenton. Congratulations Aaron!

Fair Funding Rally
The Fair Funding Action Committee held a Rally at the Kingsway Regional High School on May 8, 2012. Back on January 15, 2012, Governor Chris Christie broke his promise and pocket vetoed legislation that would have provided supplemental appropriation of $4.141 Million for schools with significant growth (including Swedesboro/Woolwich School District, Kingsway Regional High School, East Greenwich School District and South Harrison School District.) We're not going to take it anymore! We're going to stand up and let our voices be heard. We Need to Demand That Our Fair Funding is Included in This Year's Budget!

Kingsway Boasts Highest Graduation Rates in Gloucester County
Out of Gloucester County’s 14 high school districts, Kingsway Regional High School’s graduation rate — at 96.52 percent — is the highest in this calculation, something Superintendent Jim Lavender said is a testament to the school and its teachers. Kingsway also ranks in the top tier of high schools throughout southern New Jersey, rivaling the more affluent districts of Lenape, Haddonfield and Cherry Hill.

Diante Fields – Bowling State Champion
Congratulations to Diante Fields who won the NJSIAA/Bollinger Individual Championships which was held on February 16th in New Brunswick. Kingsway Musician Earns All-South Jersey Distinction…

Marching Band Ranked First in Nation
The Kingsway Regional Marching Band Finished their regular season of competitions strong by coming in first place scoring a 94.8 at the North Plainfield HS show. The score of a 94.8 is the highest score in the marching bands group size (1A) in the State and National Rankings in the USSBA circuit

Gloucester County Times Editorial Board Endorses Kingsway Referendum
Two years ago, Kingsway got state approval for 41 new classrooms along with a guarantee of $8.4 million in state funds toward a $31.1 million expansion. Voters OK Needed to Expand Schools
Two Gloucester County school systems will seek voter approval Tuesday for expansion projects worth more than $50 million. The districts — Kingsway Regional and East Greenwich — say larger buildings are needed due to soaring enrollment levels. Kingsway Honors Teachers of the Year

Looking for a summer camp for your child? Kingsway will be home to numerous fun-filled camps this summer! Kids between the ages of 3-18 will have the opportunity to expand their minds, cultivate new skills, participate in sports, and explore new subjects.
